Check lawschoolnumbers. People with your numbers were mostly admitted at GW and waitlisted at BU.confusedlaw wrote:In at gw but not bu? Anyone else?

3.68/167 is 50/50... Some people on LSN had $, but the chance isn't great. Quite a few people with OP's profile were wait listed.V811 wrote:definitely in at USC

His numbers warrant $$ from USC...you simply need to tailor your app to USC and convey interest rather than spam a standard app across the board. Hence many of the WLs.

Re: Chance me 3.68 167
6 out of 15 acceptances (for #s in his range) received scholarships that ranged from $20k to $90k (median: $45k), which shows that OP has a decent shot at some $. OP, I really think you should write a Why USC Essay...which would ideally also mention the campus visit that you might consider doing.V811 wrote:glewz wrote:3.68/167 is 50/50... Re: Chance me 3.68 167

I wouldn't be able to comment well on the entertainment law aspect of your question; but yeah, if you do a visit, express your sincere interest in attending via a Why USC essay (or even a targeted personal statement), and have a strong overall application, you'd have a really good shot IMHO.confusedlaw wrote:so you think with a visit and a why usc i would have a good shot, if i was goign to go to USC i would want to get into the entertainment law/agent world, would this be a good school to have this option from
I heard that UCLA was great for entertainment law? I dunno how USC fares in comparison.

if i wrote why bc, why BU letters do you think that would get me money, my numbers seem unpredictable here

Well, it worked out for me. Not a "why BU", but a targeted PS to discuss one of their programs.confusedlaw wrote:if i wrote why bc, why BU letters do you think that would get me money, my numbers seem unpredictable here
