3.0 gpa ( 3.2 without my really bad semester)
169 lsat
2 years of work experience
Black male
I don't know if this is relevant, but my undergrad program was top 10 for my major.
I really wish I could do undergrad again, this gpa is a killer. What type of schools do I have a shot at getting into? Should I retake the test? Thanks

If you think you can get a 170+ then I would retake the test.
As it stands right now, iirc what I remember on LSN, you have a very good shot at the T14 and possibly the T6. Check out http://www.lawschoolnumbers.com

Thanks, that's a cool site. I didn't see very many people getting into T-14's with my stats, but I saw a lot of acceptances for George Washington.

there aren't that many URM's from the start. LSN is not really as useful for you as it is for other people as the sample size is less, but you'll probably get some t-14, probably not t-6.chea wrote:Thanks, that's a cool site. When you are searching for applicants, check URM only. AA males get the largest admissions boost. You'll get some of MVP on down and possibly NYU.chea wrote:Thanks, that's a cool site. Make sure you are looking at Underrepresented Minorities (URM) profiles. The search option lets you filter. AA males get a big admissions boost. You're prospects actually look pretty good! For example, this profile got an acceptance at Northwestern and a full ride at UIUC. And your LSAT and GPA is better than his.chea wrote:Thanks, that's a cool site.
