Chances at Villanova?
Hey all,
Wanted to know if Villanova is an option for me with a 159 and a 3.68. If you could give me any insight that would be great. Also, is Villanova a better option than Syracuse or Marquette? Thanks for the help.

Yes, you should be in at Villanova, but most would not recommend attending without a full ride.

Why is that? Would I have the possibility of any scholarship from nova?

Because the job prospects at Villanova do not much warrant much, if any, debt. --LinkRemoved--CPM723 wrote:Why is that? Would I have the possibility of any scholarship from nova?
Not sure about your scholarship chances; you'll have to check lawschoolnumbers.

I do not want to practice big law, my goal is prosecution. I understand retaking is an option but not sure I would improve.

It's definitely a better value than those two other schools. That being said, you won't get cash (or much) from nova and its a cheap private school, but nonetheless still expensive overall. Although it is probably not worth the debt of going there without a significant scholarship, villanova does place slightly better than average (even at its old rank in the 60s) into NLJ firms. If you want prosecution though, villanova is really no better than many, many cheaper options, especially when you cant still retake.CPM723 wrote:Hey all,

Temple is a better option than Nova for Philly due to cost and alumni network in the city.
