3.86. 166. Money chances? Forum

Hey,

I am a rising senior with a 3.86 GPA (PBK etc.) and a 166 LSAT (first take). Might retake the LSAT, but assuming I do as well or don't retake, what are my chances to get a good amount (all tuition) of money at schools like Maryland, Emory, Connecticut, UBalt, UDC, Florida? My softs are pretty solid... Thanks!

I have a 3.3, 167 and I got 42K from Emory, so I'd think you could secure more than that. Maybe not full tuition, but I'd say Emory would pay for 2 years of law school (mine is just about one year).

I didn't get money from MD I don't think, but I was in-state and withdrew pretty fast so I'm not sure if I'd have gotten a scholarship.

UConn will give you significant money.

I know a girl who got a full ride to UBalt with a 156 and a 4.0. You'll get a full ride, but don't bother with the school. Same with UDC. Your numbers are too good for either.

Florida gave me 23 a year, so I'd expect somewhere in the 40s for you which will probably cover full tuition.

You should get from $75,000 to $81,000 at Emory ($25,000 to $27,000 per year). Your numbers make you a reasonable candidate for higher ranked law schools, however.
