Post by smokeylarue » Tue Jun 28, 2011 4:01 pm

167 in October 2010
172 in June 2011
1 Year work experience
3.68 at T10 school

What are my chances at NYU on down to Georgetown? How bad does the first 167 hurt me?

They probably won't even bat an eye at your 167.

1. 168 Probably doesn't hurt you at all.
2. I cant believe that all these new questioners have never heard of Law school numbers. It can probably be the answer to all your questions.
3. You are in a great position. With polished app, you will get several of MVPB, and likely will land one of CCN, probably Chicago.

Thanks for the responses guys. I have heard of lawschoolnumbers, but it doesn't really show retakes unless you click on like each dot individually.

True, mostly ignore it, maybe count it as one or so points lower. Schools may view it differently though so you are right to look for data.

I had the same lsat scores and about the same gpa. You can see my results in my profile. It seems as tho the 5 point gap isn't enough to keep nyu/columbia from averaging, but you def have a chance at all of them.
