SMU is my first choice.. so how good are my chances? I know the LSAC says I have a 50% chance, but I didn't know if someone had gotten in with lower scores/lower gpa.
3.9 in my major gpa
3.9 in my last 60 hours
I just need to know if it's in my best interest to apply early or to retake for a better score.

I'm curious about this as well. I'm sitting at a 164/3.45 and am unsure about whether to send in apps on first day or retake in Oct. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Apply very early. In the past, 163 / 164 was good enough, but they seem to be trying to bump their medians.
