Re: 3.95 GPA/167
Had a friend with almost identical numbers (slightly higher GPA). He got waitlisted RD to UVA and Duke, and now he's going to Vandy with $$.
You're out at CCN with that LSAT. Your best shot at T14 is ED to UM, UVA, or Duke. UVA is probably your best bet, and they guarantee a decision within 14 days. If you don't get in, you can reapply somewhere else. But it would be foolish to ED anywhere before you get your retake results back.
You'll probably get into Cornell RD (or EA if you want to apply then, I think you can), and probably GULC too. You're an easy in at Texas and Vandy with some scholarship. You will get full rides to T30 schools.
Edit: Just saw you wanted Chicago. If you have WE, doesn't sound like you do, you'll probably get NU. Do you have ties to Chicago? If so, you can come back from any of the T14. If not, then Michigan would be your best bet, although that's no means a guarantee. Even from UM though you'll need to have a compelling reason to go to Chicago, though not as compelling as some markets.
Or, take the gobs of money that UIUC will throw at you. They place half decently in Chicago, though admittedly nowhere near T14 caliber.
