Sup guys,
Scores just came out so of course this is obligatory.
LSAT: Cancel, 178
GPA: 3.74
UG: Yale
Dreaming of: Harvard
Will be happy with: Columbia
Will settle for: NYU
Side note: grades definitely went up over time with 3.93 and 3.92 this year to make up for a pretty bad freshman year.
Pretty good LORs I think, both professors know me and one of them is my adviser. Other softs:
Staff writer at the Yale Daily News for 2 years
Assistant press officer at the University PR office for 2 years
Interned for governor Schwarzenegger last summer
Also, Asian male so not URM right?
Be happy to hear any thoughts. Thanks.

Re: CHANCES
In at C and N. Likely money, especially at N. Harvard is possible but not guaranteed.

Re: CHANCES
That's sort of what I thought -- but being a splitter (a little lower than 25th percentile for GPA and a little higher for 75th percentile for LSAT), I'd love to find some people who've gone through the cycle with similar stats.duckmoney wrote:In at C and N. I did look on LSN and it looked good--but of course those guys could've been URMs or ... written an opera when they were 13.
Any advice on how I should tackle the essays?

Re: CHANCES
In general they are not URMs unless they specify and very few people have great softs.merlin2009 wrote:I did look on LSN and it looked good--but of course those guys could've been URMs or ... written an opera when they were 13.
