3.45/162 LSAT, URM , ex-military
I am an AA male with 3.45 gpa and a 162 Lsat. I am originally from New Orleans,La;I served four in the United States Marine Corps. I have also worked in Loyola Law Clinic New Orleans. I have a strong desire to work preferably in either Atlanta or California. I will be using my post 9/11 G.I. bill to cover some of the cost. What are my chances of getting into these schools with or w/o money?
USC
Pepperdine
Loyola Marymount
Emory(GA)
Georgia State
Tulane
LSU
Loyola New Orleans
Can anyone give some insight?

In with money to all of them. You'll also get a t-14. 160 and AA is better than 170 and white. Congrats.Willed1103 wrote:I am an AA male with 3.45 gpa and a 162 Lsat. Except for USC under a full ride to any of those is a waste.

You should do well. Consider retaking as it could open even more doors.

You are in with a lot of money at a bunch of those schools. It is tough to say with a place like Emory, they don't seem to give as big on a URM boost as other places. A couple of things
Good luck!
- You should aim higher. AA male is gives the bigest URM boost. AA males with your numbers have gotten into T14 schools.
- You should think about studying more and retaking the LSAT. Even a few point boost could really help.
Good luck!

I am definitely going to keep researching these schools. Hopefully, I can get some fee waivers.blacklawboss wrote:NUWilled1103 wrote:Which T14 school should I shoot for?
