Hello all,
Very grateful for this resource. Here are my stats:
GPA: 3.35
LSAT: 175
URM: Mexican-American
Good work-experience, weak academic extracurriculars, decent recc's (1 boss, 1 former professor)
What do you think?
Thanks

I'm going to say CCN- In at least 1 of them, maybe all and HYS out. You definitely have a shot given URM status, but URM bumps apply to LSAT usually and not GPA, so being a URM won't make up much for your low GPA, also Mexican-Americans don't get nearly as large of a boost as African Americans, so be prepared. Regardless, if you polish your app, you should get into a T6 or Lower T14 with at least a little $$$.JavieraMena wrote:Hello all,

I agree with the poster above, but depending on how long and how good your work experience is, I would shoot an app to HYS.
Aside from those 3 which are always a shot in the dark, I think you have a really good chance at almost anywhere you apply. If you want to go to school for free, you will probably have some options in the top 20.
How long have you been out of school? Where do you want to practice? What kind of law do you want to do?

I doubt you'll get into Stanford, but I think anything else is doable and you will get $$$$ outside the T6 (and maybe $ from CCN)
