Not a .7 GPA boost.Lawquacious wrote:I think H undergrad can give more of a boost in some instances than ppl indicate on here, but that is just speculation. I think if you hit 175 and blanketed T14 you would get some bites in lower T14. But a few of the other schools mentioned above may be good options (for money perhaps) if you can hit that high of an LSAT.

I also know of a umich sub 3.0, but they had a 180...Flips88 wrote:
As for the T-14, I'd say Northwestern is your best bet and even then it's a long shot with that GPA. I think GULC is out (lowest GPA they accepted recently was a 2.73 but it was a URM). Lowest for Michigan was a 2.9 URM. Penn was 3.0 URM. You get the picture.

Yea, I was prob too optimistic before. Also didn't see that OP actually already has a 175. Interested to see how your cycle turns out OP. Good luck.Desert Fox wrote:Not a .7 GPA boost.Lawquacious wrote:I think H undergrad can give more of a boost in some instances than ppl indicate on here, but that is just speculation. Honestly, someone with that GPA at Harvard probably hurts his/her application more than the Harvard name helps...no offense to the OP, but you REALLY have to work hard to get a 2.5 at Harvard. Hell, you have to work hard to get a 3.0 at H, and adcoms know it.Lawquacious wrote:I think H undergrad can give more of a boost in some instances than ppl indicate on here, but that is just speculation. sucks you didn't come on here before you graduated. I would have said stay in school but leave your last semster without graduating. take some super easy classes at a community college and get straight A's during your time in the military. Go back to Harvard finish up your degree then graduate with a 2.5 from Harvard but a 3.2-3.4 overall GPA.
