Will Northwestern look kindly on someone like me? 2.8/170/WE
Average college softs (Typical for someone who was considering law school for most of undergrad)
2.84/170 - no science background (drank myself silly first year, raised gpa almost a full point over the next three years)
Work Experience is Chicago Legal Aid - Two Years
Assuming I apply ED --what chances do you give me?
Do I have any chance at Georgetown ED?

You'll probably need a couple more points on the LSAT. But as is, you have a shot

Where am I "IN" at for sure (greater than 75% chance)? I'd like to move to the east coast or work there after graduation.barry wrote:yeah you prolly need like 2 more LSAT points.... you can always ED to GULC Part Time

I think GULC PT ED, WUSTL, U Minn (maybe), UIUC are probably your best choices as of now your GPA is pretty low even T30's will be reluctant but as long as you stick to splitter friendly schools you should be fine
Edit: i saw you want east coast so i think GULC PT ED wins

Anyone know what kind of employment prospects G'town PTers have? Is there an OCI?

I just went through a similar situation this cycle (2.73/170/5 years military WE). Northwestern currently has me on hold, WUSTL offered $20k/yr, Indiana-Bloomington offered $40k/yr. Other than NW I was rejected across the board at T14 - applied Georgetown regular decision FT, not PT - and a handful of waitlists within T30. William & Mary was my only other T30 acceptance, probably because they like military applicants.
If I was hell bent on T14 and was to redo my cycle, I would absolutely ED to NW next time around. I would be shocked if I get in off of hold at this point, if I ever even had a chance. I'm not even sure if Georgetown ED would be worth it because with such a low GPA you really have to rely on the WE to compensate, which is NW's thing. Your's might be high enough to make a difference, though.
