3.48/164/166/168
Already rejected from BC, WL at BU/Fordham with the first two LSATs
Chances at
BC
BU
Fordham
Vanderbilt
Georgetown
Cornell
Michigan
UPenn
Northwestern
And will the ones I MIGHT get into trump Emory/Cardozo+full ride (which I already have), while losing a year and still only having a CHANCE of attendance
Also, any others for the Northeast (NY, Boston, Northern NJ, Philly, DC)?

Reapply early next cycle. see how it goes. Add some more regional schools( where you want to practice) and your state school and see how it goes. Use the summer to touch up your personal statements and optional essays.

I'm sorry, but I place more importance on actually being able to find a job than being your preferred market. Going to a midwest T25 will probably get you a job. You will also get a lot of money, rather than 200K+ debt for Fordham or GW (where you could also get in).

Didn't realize this was your application cycle.ndirish2010 wrote:I'm sorry, but I place more importance on actually being able to find a job than being your preferred market. The issue is not finding a job anyway (that isn't exactly hard even at schools below this, or even without law school) but finding a fulfilling career with decent pay in a field I am interested in. I won't uproot my life and live in St Louis for a paycheck.
EDIT---not to mention the hollowing out of the midwest---Chicago is losing almost 1% of it's population yearly

Similar stats, 168 but no retakes.
Me:
BU- WL
Vandy- WL
BC-In, no $
Fordham- 10k/yr
UIUC- 25k
WUSTL-20k
GW- In
The T14 are pretty unlikely, except maybe Cornell. The Midwestern splitter schools are definitely where the money is, so if you ruled those out, you're probably looking at sticker or close to it.
Edit: but you probably would get into a few places you didn't before, so depends how you feel about paying sticker somewhere, I guess.

The 168 puts you in a different league, in my opinion. Reapply. At the very least you should apply to Indiana-Bloomington since you are likely to be offered at least $120,000 scholarship over 3 years.

Re: 3.48/164/166/168
If I am in with minimal or no money it makes no sense against my Dozo offer with lots of money when I am fully ambivalent about biglaw (interests-soft IP (great at Dozo, but needs biglaw), immigration, public interest (environment, civil rights), securities law, stripper law (jk)) and have NYC area as my primary goal for a market
Unless one of my two big interviews comes up positive, it looks like Dozo ($$$) or Emory($) are still my options. Damnit, having to decent but not totally convincing options sucks, even though I liked Dozo's clinics and location, TLS logic versus local lawyer advice (obviously from a different era) versus conventional logic (go to the best school you get into) are all pulling me in different directions

To be honest, I think the networking opportunities with my similar scholarship at Dozo, in an area where I already have some connections, totally outweighs thatCanadianWolf wrote:The 168 puts you in a different league, in my opinion. It looks like this is a marginal play for me, and unless i get something nice lined up for the year, it really isn't smart
Anyone looking at my interests thinking that the chance at BU/BC/Fordham/GWU with no or minimal money outweighs Cardozo with tons of money?

I'm not sure why people are so pessimistic about BU and BC, I think the OP stands a significant chance of getting into both, let alone just one.
OP: Have you already graduated? It might be worth your while to boost that GPA to a 3.5.
