I am applying to Southern University Law Center for the 2011-2012 cycle. What are my chances?

Raise score by at least 24 pts and ED to NU.

retake
In case you are serious, you are about at their medians, and would probably get in. Then again... why the hell would you want to? You will most likely be unemployed and in huge debt in the end. Find another profession is my advice.

Don't know about this one. The school is cheap as hell. But still... don't go.firemed wrote:retake

Retake is a joke. According to title, OP already did and improved by 4 points. Another retake would only take their performance from below average to what... at best the 80th percentile... if they really really worked and some deity intervened? Not worth it, hence the rest of my advice. They aren't going to get above the no longer extant T3 with any $$$, bottom of the T2 is probably their best hope... and they would be paying their own way. Not worth it at all.

If OP is sure he/she what to be a Lawyer at this point southern is BY FAR his/her best opinion (x2 if in state) that being said, one more retake can't hurt but you will need to score in 160's get T2 schools

Serdog!! You have to remember our job opportunities down here in the States are soooo incredibly bad compared to yours. It would be better not to go to a low ranked school and find another job than to go for 80-90% of their grads.serdog wrote:If OP is sure he/she what to be a Lawyer at this point southern is BY FAR his/her best opinion (x2 if in state) that being said, one more retake can't hurt but you will need to score in 160's get T2 schools
