I think y'all are being way to pessimistic about her chances.

OP: If you get a 168 again and write a compelling and well composed personal statement then I'd be shocked if you didn't get into multiple t-14 schools. Even with that score you have a good shot at the "top 3" schools or a nice scholarship.

Ha! Rotor, that's awesome. I guess that the name fits. I've seen you around in one or two of my classes, and since I did two years of ROTC in college the fact that you were prior military stuck out.

UVA has a rep for being particularly friendly to vets. I think a score in the high 160s and an ED ought to do you for it.
