Chance a Reverse Splitter: 3.76 & 161
I choked on the Dec. LSAT (161), but have a 3.76 GPA and two semesters to raise it further -- hopefully to 3.8.
I'm retaking the LSAT in June. If, heaven forbid, I don't improve, do I have a shot at any of these?
What schools are reverse-splitter friendly that I could include?
Washington U. in St. Louis
UIUC
George Washington
Boston U
Boston College
Notre Dame
William & Mary
UNC Chapel Hill
Washington & Lee

You may have a shot at BC because they like higher GPAs. If you can get your GPA up to 3.8 then you have a shot at Illinois and WUSTL. If you write a really good why ND essay and you have some background that we like, you have a slight chance at ND.

Had the same exact stats as OP, applied to BC. Took them about a week to deny me. This was two years ago.
No clue about the rest of the schools. OP: Study hard!

Thanks, buckilaw, and I will.
Emorycane, thanks for sharing! Since I should probably be looking at it... how's Emory? What's the current mood there concerning employment prospects?
ndirish, thanks for the encouragement! I do have a diverse background (but not URM) so it's nice to know some schools might consider that. Congrats on getting into ND!
patrick, since you had the same stats, please tell me... did anyone accept you?

Bahaha...on the off chance that this was a serious question: yes. Contrary to TLS lore, there are schools out there who will accept you with a sub 170 LSAT. Don't tell anyone, but it's even possible to get a SA position (!) with those numbers.LeParadisTerrestre wrote:patrick, since you had the same stats, please tell me... did anyone accept you?

I'm sorry, I meant to ask... who accepted you? Where, if anywhere, did you end up attending?

Fair enough. Ended up at OU. Relevant to your interests: Yes, every day I regret not sitting out a few years, getting work experience, retaking and applying again.LeParadisTerrestre wrote:I'm sorry, I meant to ask... who accepted you? Where, if anywhere, did you end up attending?
