Hey all,
I'm back! So, after some thought, I have decided to focus on corporate law. Hopefully, make partner and one day become general counsel.
My question is I am interested in attending several schools. Chicago, Columbia, NYU, and Michigan. Stats are not that great as you can see in my profile. I do in addition to what I have listed, have a year of experience as a Banker with JP Morgan.
What do you all think? Any chance?

3.4/165 AA male... you got a chance. That's about as helpful as anyone here is gonna be. Take all that life experience, however, and apply to HYS also.

I think you have a really good shot at Michigan.
Your Michigan residency, alma matter status, and especially URM status should give you a great shot there.

Yeah this is about it. Really depends on you being African American, I don't think some other ethnicity bumps will be good enough. And it will be impossible to predict the level of the bump. Sounds like you have a ton of unique soft factors to help you out so you should be OK.canes wrote:3.4/165 AA male... you got a chance. That's about as helpful as anyone here is gonna be.
