3.03/157
I am an accounting and finance major at the number 23rd accounting program if that helps me out or not
here are the list of schools:
Arizona State University--Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law
Chapman University School of Law
DePaul University College of Law
University of Florida, Fredric G. Levin College of Law
Florida International University, College of Law
The Florida State University College of Law
Loyola Law School, Loyola Marymount University
Loyola University Chicago School of Law
University of Maryland School of Law
University of Miami School of Law
Nova Southeastern University--Shepard Broad Law Center
Penn State University, The Dickinson School of Law
St. John's University School of Law
University of San Diego--School of Law
Syracuse University College of Law
Temple University--James E. Beasley School of Law
Also is it worth it to retake my lsat to score 160-161. I have been scoring 162-166 on my practice lsats but when I went it to take the test my nerves got to me on the first half and caused me to miss 22 on my first two sections and only 12 on my last two (games and lr)
Thanks!!

Retake. Your GPA and LSAT pretty much put you out at most schools on that list.

How about more specifically:
UM and FIU those are my top two choices.
I can not sign up for the February LSAT and I would really not like to take a year off of school to retake my LSAT. Would going to a law school and then transferring to another be a better option then retaking and taking a year off to get into a better school?
Thanks!

No. Retake is definitely the right response. Even if you get in you'll be paying sticker...not a good callbagels24 wrote:How about more specifically:

Lol @ those FIU and UM. Bad bad idea.luckyme wrote:send apps to FIU and UM if you can afford it, plan on retaking in june
Also OP you're out at most of the above schools, and the ones you can get into aren't worth going to.
Terrible GPA, slightly less terrible LSAT = Retake or don't go.

You should be able to get into FIU, I think you fall just above median for LSAT, but probably less than 25% for gpa. I had a 155/3.3 and I was waitlisted at UM, although I had some pretty good softs, such as graduating undergrad in 3 years while working mad hours. But I feel like I can get into FIU as I fall into their medians. However, I don't have in-state, which is really hard to get in Florida. I think you have to buy a house, be married to a Florida resident, or live in Florida without going to school for 12 months. But you should be good at FIU, although it is fairly late in the admissions process.

good luck on depaul though. While a lot of those schools are a reach with your numbers, that one is definitely the most attainable as far as top tier schools are concerned.

Re: 3.03/157
I have 157/3.08(Cum) (3.9 degree)
Got accepted to Stetson with 10k a year. I think Stetson should be on your list especially if you know you want to work in FL. I am still waiting on UF, FSU, and UM so can't help with those yet. But it is really late in the game which will hurt you alot. With our lsat it is key to get in early. I would give it a shot to the FL schools and if doesn't work out retake and wait a year. Good luck.
