Just sent my applications in last weekend...
Took the LSAT twice - first time score 165, 2nd time score 173
UGPA 3.91, phi beta kappa, various honors
Completing an MA in philosophy this spring, gpa 3.96
What are my chances? Here's where I applied:

harvard
columbia
nyu
chicago
penn
berkeley
georgetown
michigan
stanford
UVA
UCLA
have i been significantly hurt by applying so late in the cycle?

Yeah, you pretty much messed up your cycle for this year.
So please, for the love of God, do not go to school this August. Get a job for 8 months, apply early next cycle and enjoy Harvard/Columbia.

i'm in a similar boat: 3.98, 165, 172 at one of the top ivies (still in school), fellowships, various honors etc., and my applications just went complete last week when i got my Dec LSAT.
im also applying HYSC and i've heard i got a good shot at all of em, except for maybe H. i'd say the same applies to you. S and Y don't discriminate on the point of cycle at which you apply; H might. Columbia also will only look at our higher LSATs b/c we jumped more than 6 points.
i dont know your UG school or where you are doing the MA, but i imagine that they are impressive enough to stand a good chance at these places. good luck.
