I have 4.0/4.3 GPA (fudged) and a 166 LSAT
I'm not applying this cycle and I'm retaking this June.
How much do you think I have to score (by the minimum) to have a decent chance at Columbia?

A 171 and an early app or ED (do they have ED?) would give you pretty good odds.

I would not ed if you hit 170+
You would have a decent enough shot at stanford, harvard, and $$ somewhere.

Thanks for the positive feedback!
I don't think I can make it to Stanford cuz of my softs (average to weakish) and harvard, well, I heard they're less flexible about multiple scores so...
I would seriously be happy with Columbia:)

Bump for more opinions.
Btw, I have pretty weak softs in terms of work experience although I think I have average to good recommendations.
Counting this info in, what do you think my second LSAT score should by the minimum to get into Columbia? (they sort of average right?)

I got in with a 163, 175. I think with a 172 you should be fine. Heck, with a near-4.0, I'd shoot for Harvard with anything above 171.roranoa wrote:Anyone? bump
Good luck!
ETA: Wait a minute, I just saw that you're international. If you have a first ("Superior"), I maintain what I said above. If a 2:1 ("Above Average"), I revise that to 173+.

How did you get a 175 on your retake? That's amazing!
Would you be able to tell my how you prepared for you retake?
And yes, my GPA status is "Superior"

Would it be especially bad for an international applicant like my self to have a second LSAT score even if it scores above a 172?
Would Columbia treat me differently cuz I'm a foreign student?
