HELP...are any of these worth applying to with fee waivers?
i have a 4.0, 165, and URM I've already applied to 10 of the T14 and now I have fee waivers from...
W&L
Maryland
William and Mary
Alabama
USC
Pepperdine
WUSTL
Notre Dame (already applied after they gave fee waiver)
So I will likely come back to Florida to practice. I am looking for $$ of course and don't know how these schools are perceived in different states.

If you are truly an URM, I see no reason for you to apply outside of the T14.

You'll be money in the T14. Good luck!

I see no reason not to apply to USC. Living in LA for three years would be great. That's the only reason I am applying to USC and UCLA. If I get in both, I am definitely going out to Cali and touring the schools.

Don't think any of those will get you to Florida. Maybe Alabama?

very good to know. i already lived in CA, raised there. Went to UCLA for undergrad. So, i should be fine it seems. I applied to notre dame though. Do you think i could get $$? and would practicing in Florida be more difficult than if i had gone elsewhere?

I bet you get $$ at Notre Dame, but you'll have much better options.chrissyc wrote:very good to know. i already lived in CA, raised there. Went to UCLA for undergrad. So, i should be fine it seems. would attending notre dame get me back to FL? I don't necessarily want biglaw but my fiance NEEDS to be close to his family and they live in Florida.
