Why so limited? Don't go to the first three unless you enjoy being unemployed. You can get into much better schools in T2 who you will prob get fee waivers from

Really? I'm looking to go to school in the Boston area and didn't know I had further options? And do I have a shot at the first three even if they don't have good job prospects?

Northeastern should be a target or maybe even a safety for you as far as I can tell.. was the 'reach' entered by accident on that one? BU and BC little to no chance IMO, unless you are URM.crgrs359 wrote:Am applying to the following schools:

Thanks guys, I appreciate the advice. I'm not sure exactly what to do, as it seems as if there is a huge quality gap between the first three and the last two, yet I can't get into the last two! Given I want to study in/ eventually practice in Boston, its a dilemma I'm going to face, especially if one of the first three offers me generous cash and my parents are down my throat :/

Is retaking the LSAT an option? I know its a pain, but a higher LSAT would get you more money at lower ranked schools at the very least. It could give you a better shot at BU/ BC as well, though actually those schools seem to like GPA from what I can tell, so you may still be cut off at the knees so to speak because of your GPA.
If you're positive you plan to stay and practice in MA, then I think as long as you can get some money at the schools other than BU/BC, and are sure you want to practice law, that route may not be such a bad idea. Realize though that if you're in the lower part of the class when you graduate from those schools you may literally not be able to get a legal job unless you have connects. At least I think that's right, but don't know your market very well.
