I just got my LSAT score back and scored a 175. I'm pretty psyched. The school I really want to go to is Northwestern. I'd really like to improve my chances of getting a scholarship. Any idea on how to make that happen?
Oops realize more information would be nice. I'm six years out of college, worked as an editor so I have project management and communications experience. Nothing spectacular but work experience is important at Northwestern.

I was actually just looking at scholarship data for Northwestern on LSN. It looks like the best way to get money is to bring offers from other schools, although it appeared like anything over 60-70k is unlikely unless both of your numbers are above median (which your GPA is not).
This profile is probably most similar to yours.

although this one seems like an outlier, it might be a possibility.

There are a few people out there with 90k, it seems a bit random though.

Here's a list of NW applicants from last year -- http://northwestern.lawschoolnumbers.co ... order=desc. Check out the profiles that indicate they received scholarship money. I didn't apply to NW (no WE), so I'm sorry that I can't help you any more than this.

Thanks a lot - anything - even 60K - would be enough for me to justify the expense w/ my family and go. I wonder if there's any way to contact people who have had this experience?
