1.) You weren't feeling fully well on the day you got the 161.
2.) Apply to the T-14 schools you haven't yet. Even though it's late you are indeed in the running for good scholarships and acceptances.

Grats on the score increase : ) December was freaking hard, and anyone with a high score def deserves it.
I would think you are sitting pretty, though an addendum explaining the jump (if you have a good reason) couldn't hurt.

Anna Ivey has one in her book. Basically no more than 3-4 sentences why your first score is not a great indicator. Details aren't important.
I'd say you have a good chance at every t-14 school.
I think you'll get 2 of 3 at HYS. Likely in at H & S, WL or Deny at Y.
