Any chance at NYU this late in the cycle? 4.0/166 Forum

I have average softs, a PS that is slightly above average that shows a commitment to PI law, and very good LORs. I was going to apply to UVA ED, but NYU has always been my top choice. Is it too far of a reach to justify applying to UVA RD in the hopes that NYU will accept me, and that I won't be bound by the ED contract?

NYU is probably out with or a 166, regardless of ED, unless URM or extremely exceptional softs.
