2.5/167 + retake URM. More schools? Forum

So Ive sent out 9 applications so far. After my Oct 167 I requested that my apps be placed on hold pending a Dec. retake. My shit GPA is going to require me to get as high an LSAT as possible, and Ive really been shooting for a 170+ to try to convince adcomms to look the other way on that 2.5. St. John's came back early (not sure why), but let me in with a full scholly. However, due to its poor position in the NYC market, I am still hoping that something better comes along. Im also looking for are much $$$ as possible because paying sticker is pretty much out of the question.

Fordham
GW (extreme reach)

Maryland
Cornell

UC Davis

Soon to go:
Pacific
UC Hastings
Temple
Santa Clara

Are there any other schools I should try that might give me a shot at a little bit of money? Or should I just take SJU and run?

Don't go to SJU, there are already tons of NY law schools you would be at the bottom of the graduate pool in terms of job prospects. Wait until you get your December score a 170+ would open up many more doors for you.

Any chance at $$ from any of those schools? Cost is definitely a factor. Part of the reason SJU is so appealing is because I wont have to worry about tuition. Im already buried in undergraduate debt.

Is there any stipulations on the SJU scholly (i.e. top 1/3rd)?
