164/3.6 chances to get into ND
would a 164 with a 3.6 from ND ug get me in? i know what the predictor says but i feel that presents a slightly skewed perception of what scores actually get people in. any jd candidates from nd out there that can offer advice?

Out. You'd probably need a 167.

Unless you're retaking on Saturday, if Notre Dame is your goal, I would advise retaking next year and applying then.

ND has gotten considerably more competitive in the past few cycles. Unfortunately, past acceptances =/= present acceptances. But you're doing the right thing by retaking. Good luck on Saturday!lolol10 wrote:alrighty thanks. i have talked to some people who go to ND law and they all got below 164 and had a 3.5 or lower...im retaking in saturday so hopefully it turns out good

I disagree, you do have a chance.
Contrary to TLS conventional wisdom and the lip service from the admissions committee, they DO give an admissions boost to ND undergrads. As you mentioned, there are many Double Domers at the law school with subpar numbers that did not cure cancer, etc. For whatever reason, they love their own and it is a substantial boost.
Head to the pre-law office on campus and ask for the most recent admissions statistics they have for ND students applying to law school. Though the info I got was 2-3 years old by now, the mean LSAT and GPA for accepted undergrad students into the law school were notably lower than the overall published medians.
Good luck.
Edit--I went through this process two years ago but still think this info is relevant
