Do NOT go to Gonzaga. It's terribly expensive (for the value) and has no better placement than other regional schools, such as University of Idaho. There really is no reason to go there unless you have serious $$$$$$, which with those scores, is doubtful.

Other than that, your choices look ok :)

Are you in-state at Montana?

Also, I would also throw in U of Idaho.

I pretty much agree with your opinion about Gonzaga. They sent me a fee waiver, so I thought I would apply for ego insurance in case Montana rejects me....wouldn't go there unless they offered quite a bit of $.

I am a MT resident. Really, really hope I get in. Tuition would only be around 10,000/year. I thought about retaking the LSAT, because I was practice testing at 162-164, but Montana looks pretty stingy with scholarship money across the board, so I doubt it would have done a lot of good. Still thinking about applying to Idaho, I guess Moscow is a great town.

Thanks!

I think your chances of acceptance to UM are good. You're barely under 25% GPA and over the 75% LSAT. With it being the only law school in Montana, and with in-state tuition, I think going there will be a reasonable investment. Good luck!

Don't waste your time with Tech, Baylor, Arizona or UNLV. They are not in your region and wouldn't get you where you want to be - Montana.

Sorry to bump this old thread..

Gonzaga gives fee waivers? They told me they only grant LSAC fee waivers and Alumni recommendation fee waivers..

Did OP receive one of these two, or was I just lied to?

You should get some scholarship money from Gonzaga if accepted, but Montana should be your best option financially & for your career goal of working in Montana.
