chances

Post by JenDarby » Mon Dec 06, 2010 11:01 pm

I went a little fee waiver crazy and applied to:

Cornell
UCLA
U Texas
USC
Washington U
U Illinois
BU
Notre Dame
U Iowa
BC
William & Mary
U Georgia
Fordham
George Mason
Lewis & Clark
Loyola LA

Should I throw in apps to anywhere else in hopes of $?

Cornell, UCLA, UT are hard to predict. Gut tells me UT is a ding since you're OOS. Maybe in at one of Cornell/UCLA and in at USC. Probably in everywhere else.

You're applying to Lewis and Clark and NOT UW?

UW was one of the few schools from 14-50 not kind enough to give me a fee waiver, I suppose I could email them and request one. I'm currently living in the NW, and not extremely interested in staying here though, so Lewis & Clark was somewhat of a $12 whim.

Really? A 3.58/168 shouldn't apply there, IMO, under any conditions.

Yeah I'm not certain but I don't think UW gives fee waivers. Oh well, you've got a lot of other potential locks/good options on there.

Do you think I have any shot at money at GW?

No, but you'll definitely get in, and might be able to negotiate with possible $ offers from BU/BC/Fordham.

She*

There is a lot of TLS hate for Cardozo it seems. I should probably throw this out there, I'm not biglaw or bust.
