Unfortanately, being a sub-170 splitter is not ideal.DrVictorFreeze wrote:Hey guys, first time poster. What do you think my chances are with a 3.25 / 167 with an econ major and applied math minor? I go to a top 25 private college. I am a white male and I have pretty standard softs (SGA, Greek, Work experience, Community Service stuff - not to many leadership positions though)

They're probably worth the apps, just for a long shot. USC on up are not, however.DrVictorFreeze wrote:Shit that was brutal, BC and Fordham were top choices
edit: you still have a shot at Fordham. It's an outside shot though. Probably gonna get WL. Check out lawschoolnumbers.com

In all fairness, I think Rad is being on the "safe side." BC and Fordham can easily be replaced with waitlists.

Waitlist should be considered a soft reject.Total Litigator wrote:In all fairness, I think Rad is being on the "safe side." Some of those cross-outs can easily be replaced with waitlists.

True, and now I see that's the approach Rad was taking.

I have similar numbers (slightly higher GPA) and am looking at a lot of the same schools, but I'm also a URM woman. Schools like Mason are good safeties, maybe pick a couple more just to be on the safe side (but maybe that's just me, the more nervous I'm get as I wait to heard, I'm PILING on extra safeties).
