Going to assume Non URM?
Out at GTown
Out at UVa
(You could try ED-ing to either of these two schools I guess, since it can't really hurt you at this point. Maybe GTown PT)
Iffy at GW (50/50 probably)
Probably in at American and George Mason

Non-URM, correct. Thank you.
What is the deal with GW's ED?

GW ED comes with full tuition, so it is probably the only ED program where it is harder to get in ED than RD.

Re: 3.75/163
You have a good shot at AU. Gtown and UVA you're out. GW you will be most likely out b/c they care about high LSAT more than anything. GM might have a shot b/c your GPA is pretty good.edwardb wrote:Georgetown?
George Washington?
George Mason?
UVA?
American?
Opinions appreciated.

If you like the Virginia schools, you should look into W&L and W&M! Good Luck!

You're below both medians at UVA, so even ED is unlikely to help you. Retake!

FWIW, I had almost identical numbers and I regret not taking a year off and retaking. I guess it depends on what your professional goals and risk-aversion is.

I assume you want DC work, so I'd retake and try to get in to GW, and I'd try for GW PT. I'd caution against GM and Mason especially. Bad jerb prospects.

Re: 3.75/163
I took a half-scholarship at a T40. I was scoring in the high 160s/low 170s on PTs and ended up with a 162 (on the feb test). When I was making my decision I had this intense urge to just enroll and get through school as quickly as possible (and my family encouraged this). In retrospect, I would probably be in a significantly better position now professionally, had I taken a year off and boosted my LSAT by 5 points or so. With such a score, I probably would have gotten into at least one of DNCG, and been looking at substantial scholarships from schools like USC/ND/Emory/IU and full-rides from schools above 40.whymeohgodno wrote:Where did you end up going?sanpiero wrote:FWIW, I had almost identical numbers and I regret not taking a year off and retaking. DNCG with a 167? Must have had a 3.9+ GPA or URM status.sanpiero wrote:I took a half-scholarship at a T40. I was scoring in the high 160s/low 170s on PTs and ended up with a 162 (on the feb test).
