Chances with regards to timing

Post by Potential » Tue Nov 23, 2010 4:08 pm

2.5 gpa.
blaw major.
some work-related semi-impressive stuff to show.

Taking the Feb '11 LSAT. What score would I need to get into (or have a shot at) my top choices:

Loyola (LA)
Pepperdine (LA)

Willing to pay full tuition (if that makes a difference) and applications are going to be submitted at the end of November (and await the attached Feb LSAT score)

Thoughts? I really don't want to waste another year.

depends on what you expect your LSAT score to be, though unless you're going to be 170++++ i'd say not good.

Mainly it's about the timing. If I submit my application now, and then attach the LSAT score later, it's not going to negatively affect me that much, is it?

i'd say it would very much negatively affect your chances. any place that has rolling admissions is going to pretty much fill up by that time. to be accepted so late, your numbers will have to be superior to the others who are applying late, and your gpa is very low.
