3.4/169
I have a decent understanding of where I'll probably end up, but would like to see what other people think...
I have a 3.4/169, asian male, from UC Davis, and a california resident. My softs: founded my own fraternity, participated in a bunch of community service, and I'm a sponsored studio musician(People pay me to record drums on their albums).
I ED'ed at UCLA and am applying to Cornell as a reach... Obviously, UCLA is my first choice, but other than Cornell and USC, I don't really care where I go to law school, just want to get into the best school I can... any suggestions of where I should apply and my chances?
Thanks guys!

I think you'll make it to UCLA; IIRC, another 169/3.4 was just accepted ED. If you need more options, check out the app list in my profile (I'm 170/3.4) for a decent range of schools.

California or New York, but I was under the impression that you could get jobs all over the US if you graduate from a high up law school..... Am I missing something?

Even some highly ranked schools are more regional than others.

ok so my stats are 3.45/169 (i've been rounding up to 3.5, but i'm actually a little lower) and i just got admitted to michigan ED, fwiw. aim high, expect to be disappointed, and you might get lucky. i agree that you have a shot at UCLA ed, for sure.

wow, I didn't think those numbers could make it into ucla. I'll be graduating with a 3.35 and am aiming for 169 (avging 168 right now)... for a while gulc and ucla were my two dream schools but I basically gave up on them (unless I pull a miracle and get a 173), and am now aiming for usc/gw. If you got a 169 with my gpa would you forget this cycle and try EDing to gulc or ucla next fall?
