I graduated with a degree in philosophy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. As far as extras, aside from some community and political volunteering, for 2 years I was a member of a heavy metal band that regularly gigged (and once opened for an international touring act) - I don't know whether most schools would view that as a real accomplishment or not.
Some schools I'm looking at:
University of Illinois
University of Minnesota
University of Wisconsin
Indiana University School of Law
University of Iowa
Washington U
UCLA
UC Berkeley
What would my chances be at these schools? What other schools would you recommend applying to?
Would it be worthwhile to retake the LSAT in December? What kind of a score would I need to make it worthwhile?

While your band exploits may be cool, they won't open doors that would be otherwise closed
As for re-taking, I think you should if you can. Above say, 163, every point makes a big difference. With your gpa, you could sniff the T14 w/ a 166 or 167 (maybe) and w/ a 164 or 165 you could get good money from schools like Iowa or Indiana.
