Mexican? Puerto Rican?
Also this thread is useless without an LSAT score.

This is just so depressing because Columbia has always been my dream school. I have worked so hard in school, but it doesn't count for crap if I don't score a 170 or up.

172 is likely about 65% or so; to have a shot, I'd say you need at least a 169. But with your quasi-URM status and solid GPA, you should really be shooting for 173+ for a stab at the big H.

Yeah, but there are enough students with your GPA or better to fill Columbia's class 1,000 times over, and many from a better UG or harder major than yours.Columbia11 wrote:This is just so depressing because Columbia has always been my dream school. You'll need a 170-172 for Columbia or NYU.

Re: Columbia law school question.
Funny coincidence, I go to Tulane and am also applying to law school. I scored a 171 (I was scoring 180s on practices but had a bad set of circumstances test day, I'm too broke to retake) and tutor in the New Orleans area. PM me if you're interested.
