St Mary's 3.2/165
Their admissions standards seem to keep shifting. Can I get into St. Mary's in Texas with these numbers alone?

OP...shoot higher. I wouldn't be surprised if you get some $ from a school like Baylor. You should apply to SMU and Houston as well.

I forum creeped on you and saw that you are also a URM (Mexican-American)...I say shoot much, MUCH higher...pretty sure it is a tier 4.
EDIT: By the way, you start becoming a straigt up strong consider/admit on lawschoolpredictor 22 on down. If you were wanting Texas, lawschoolnumbers shows an applicant with a 160/3.23 got in with a $50,000 scholarship last cycle....meaning you would probably get an even bigger one.
Good luck!

The applicant I think you're talking about is an AA male, which is pretty much the crown jewel of URMs. The boost for a hispanic applicant probably won't be as big, though it's still significant. Texas is worth an app but I would hesitate to call it a likelihood. UH, SMU, and Baylor are all very possible, and far better schools than St. Mary's. There's no reason someone with your numbers should ever go to St. Mary's, unless you absolutely had to be in SA for some reason.lalalawya wrote:I forum creeped on you and saw that you are also a URM (Mexican-American)...I say shoot much, MUCH higher...pretty sure it is a tier 4.
