You need a retake. You likely won't get any t14, except, maybe, Cornell. But even that isn't a great shot. But you should for sure get fordham and some money.funhouse3 wrote:My LSAT is 167 and gpa is 3.70. I want to go to a school in NYC. Not URM but pretty good softs and LORs.
Any chance at NYU/Columbia? Or is my best bet Fordham?
What about Penn, Michigan, Georgetown?
Thanks.

No chance at any T14, so your best bet is Fordham.

Re: 167/3.70
Came across the OP randomly and I just brought this post back to life to show users that even posters with 25,000 combined posts can be quite wrong in their predictions. While their advice is appreciated, its probably best to take some of it in these chances threads with a grain of salt--particularly if you're a borderline candidate.
Of course, many people should indeed retake. Myself included.

Pretty similar stats from last cycle (3.66/168), I got some nice offers from T30s but only WLs from Cornell and GULC (rejections on up). $15K/yr at Fordham. I would say you do have a slight chance at Georgetown because you are a bit above their GPA median but I would still call it a WL.

Are you saying the predictions were wrong because OP didn't indicate that?canes wrote:Came across the OP randomly and I just brought this post back to life to show users that even posters with 25,000 combined posts can be quite wrong in their predictions. Wow, I'm really bad at reading history, I thought OP said he got into Georgetown in another thread and received 90k from UT... Clearly I was thinking of someone else. My apologies, although I do know someone with the exact same stats in at Uchi. It wasn't an attack on the respondents, just a general thought, albeit a misplaced one.
I really have no idea how I clicked on his profile and found this. I should be sent to the corner or something.

Not according to the op's post history. In his most recent gulc post he just said he went complete.BlakcMajikc wrote:Poster did say he/she got into GULC in another thread.. Hmmmmm! I would have thought I'd get an answer by now with big scholly money. But, haven't heard yet. Cardozo accepted me with schooly and got in at gulc. I was hoping for full scholly school at BLS. But, without a full scholarhip, I won't be going here. shame... My status checker says accepted....
