3.9x / 174 / HYS chances
I am trying to determine my chances at H, Y, and S.
Thanks!
UG school: HYPS
GPA: Between 3.90 ~ 3.95 (Don't want to out myself)
My GPA places me between the 5th and the 10th percentile at my UG.
Major: Economics and a science double major (honors in the science major)
LSAT: 174
Other: Have been out of school since May, have been working at prestigious well-known law related institutions.
Letters: Pretty strong but probably not distinguishably excellent in the HYS applicant pool.
Thanks!

Can people please stop posting these types of ridiculously stupid posts? This is like someone asking "I have a penis, does that mean I'm a man?"

Haha I do have to agree that I have a strong chance at H.
How about Y and S?
They are known to be more unpredictable.

strong chance at all 3, but probably H > S > Y in terms of chances

LOL
I meant "not as easy to predict"
I was wondering if there are certain "markers" that tend to indicate if one will be accepted to Y or S... like major, ECs, or GPA/LSAT balance, etc.

These will all help for Y and S.

Probably not Yale.
Standford - Eh. Depends on how much they like your GPA, I suppose.
Harvard - Boston is lovely in the fall.

To be fair, no one is really a lock at HYS, and TLS can give people one hell of an inferiority complex (not implying you have one OP, just saying...)gambelda wrote:Can people please stop posting these types of ridiculously stupid posts? I agree with im_blue's assessment of H > S > Y. You could conceivably get into all three. You could also conceivably get into none of them and have to "settle" for CCN (although I doubt this will happen). Either way, you have a bright future ahead of you.
Best of luck!
