3.6/173 Are T14 schools a possibility?

Post by landpirate » Tue Nov 02, 2010 4:02 am

I've got a 3.6 in a highly ranked engineering major at a public school and a 173 LSAT. I've also got what I've been told is a relatively strong personal statement. Is it realistic to apply to T14 schools? What if my PS and LORs are average? What about early decision? Thanks.

Not just a possibility but a probability.

I'm in the same boat. You are in from Penn on down. I'm trying to figure out whether to ed to NYU, Columbia, or Chicago. HYS are probably out.

Hey numbers twin!

Yeah with those numbers you're definitely in at most of the T14. Great shot from Penn on down (with exception of Boalt). You also have a decent shot at UChicago and a chance at any of CCN if you ED. Good luck!

I would immediately apply ED to Chicago or NYU.

NYU did because the NYC market fared better than the Chicago market.
