3.8/167
Hey guys long time lurker, first time poster.
My dilemma: Just got back my Oct LSAT and it was a bit lower than I expected. My practice median was generally a lot closer to 170-171 with a few PTs pretty close to 180. So 167 is a bit of a disappointment. At the same time I really want to apply to law school this year and fear that retaking in December will be severely disadvantaging myself and I really don't think I want to put myself through studying again.
I'm an undergrad with some pretty decent summer experience (consulting firm, JAG office) and school year internships (Capitol Hill) as well as decent ECs (SecGen of an MUN conference) and good but not special PS and reccs. 3.80 health policy major from a t25 undergrad.
Basically what are my chances at Penn down in the T14 (I figure these are at least worth the app fee) plus BC/BU maybe GW. I really want to stay on the east coast either in Boston or DC but will go to the best school I get in.
Thanks!

Realistic chances at Cornell on down.

Bump (one time only). Really at a loss of what to do.

A retake wouldn't be a bad idea, but you're fairly close to your PT average. But a 1 or 2 point bump would work wonders.

I've gotten fee waivers from Duke and Cornell. Does this mean anything?

Not true, it means you only have to pay the $12 or whatever.rad law wrote:Absolutely nothing.mikey101 wrote:I've gotten fee waivers from Duke and Cornell. Does this mean anything?
