Hi all! I didn't expect to do so well on the oct lsat, and now I'm wondering how far down in the rankings I should go for a safety? Can I apply just to T-14 and feel pretty confident? non-urm, probably average softs, straight out of ugrad...

Thanks :)

You're going no lower than Harvard, unless you want close to full ride at Columbia. Y/S are black boxes as usual.

Yes, you can apply just to T14 and be confident. You don't even have to apply to all of them. Pick the 8-10 you're most interested in attending and apply there.

If you apply to Penn or UVA, you'll have to write "Why X?" essays for each explaining why you really want to attend there. Otherwise they'll WL you on the assumption you're going to one of the top schools instead.

That's how good your situation is, if you didn't already know that.
