I'm an AA male, who has a 3.5 ugpa, not sure what my LSDAS GPA is yet, but it's probably going to be lower, lets say for now a 3.3, and just received a 161 lsat score. I have average to low softs like volunteering for legal aid law firm, was in a summer law program, currently in Americorps Vista working for a legal aid law firm, and I was just put on the board of a non-profit organization.
Does anybody have any thoughts on the range of schools I should apply to?

If you have the means to do so, apply at all the schools you have an interest in 50 through t6. You'll very likely get into most lower t1's with some scholarship money. Some t25's will bite. One or two t14's may do the same.
URM apps, and apps for aa males especially, are pretty hard to predict.

Thanks for the input. I'm still a little fresh in all this, but I have read a lot of people talk about how applying ED to UVA and Cornell are good choices. Do you think that would be wise in my case as well?

I wouldn't. Apply RD and include WUST and other money givers. Have you thought about retaking. With your gpa if you break 170 you have a great shot at harvard and free rides at schools like UVA.

I haven't really thought about it, yet. But I'll take it into consideration. Thanks!
