5 years of unskilled work experience, bad softs, and a 165 in June that I retook. I would love Michigan, but I don't know if I'll be able to ED as my 2nd LOR isn't in yet. Prof said he sent it last Monday, so I'm hoping it will magically be there on the 1st. Other than that, do I have any shot at the T14 with RD? LSN gives me a bunch of considers in the MVPD range, but I'm not sure if that's expecting Why X essays and such or not.

Bump! Come on people, I need to know whether I have a realistic shot at UM with ED by tomorrow or so. I only have 2 LORS on file (one I have been told is great, the other I have no idea, but I have another good one coming in ~3 weeks), and a PS I've only gotten to work on for a week (I think it is serviceable). I don't have a "Why Michigan" essay, and I'm not sure what I could write in one. Do I have any shot at UM RD? Or any of the T14 RD aside from Cornell?

Doesn't Michigan require just one recommendation? You already have two. And the "Why Mich" essay isn't nearly as important for people applying ED.
