I have average softs, LOR, and a PS that will most like be well written, but not mind blowing.
My question is whether I should send out three apps to CCN and see what sticks, or if I should pick one to do ED.
Also, what would you say is the threshold for ED on CCN?

you have a better shot at Stanford with that low an LSAT than at Columbia, Chicago, or NYU

Really? I feel like barring amazing softs Stanford is a pipe dream with my numbers.YSS wrote:you have a better shot at Stanford with that low an LSAT than at Columbia, Chicago, or NYU

If you have the cash, apply to all of CCN. If you have a favorite of the 3, pick one to ED.

This. All of HYS are technically "in play" with those numbers, but you're a long-shot at each with avg. LORs and an above-average PS.im_blue wrote:If you have the cash, apply to all of CCN. If you have a favorite of the 3, pick one to ED.
You've probably got slightly below even odds at NYU ED, with a slim chance at NYU RD (again, I think it'd be minimal). If you just want CCN, I'd go for NYU with your ED.
Chicago you have a shot ED, very slim RD. For Columbia, I'd say your shots are a little slimmer than at UofC.

Ok, I feel like people are being a little generous here. The likelihood is, you aren't getting into a t6. That is just the reality. If I were you I would definitely retake the LSAT. Now an ED to NYU gives you the best chance, but honestly I would prepare to be somewhere between penn and georgetown.
