If you're interested in health care law, you should add Saint Louis to your safeties.

Probably not. I had surgery in March, and took it in June. More surgery is possibly on the way when insurance finds out what they need to pay for and responds.

That sucks, I would definitely advocate a retake if feasible to help get you into better schools but surgery prohibiting it is completely understandable. Seems like a good list though I might add some more reaches.wolfpack11 wrote:Probably not. I had surgery in March, and took it in June. Great school for you. Add some higher reaches, write a diversity statement.wolfpack11 wrote:160 LSAT, 3.89 GPA, I am handicapped, interested in Health Care Law

Hourumd says you have a great shot at Hastings and Davis, and that sizable scholarships have gone to people with your stats at Loyola and Pepperdine. So, what I'm saying is: any interest in California schools? (Do those have meaningful health care law programs?)

What's your question? SLU is tops in health law, and they enjoy relatively decent job prospects in the city. Seems like it would be worth an app from the OP.sophia.olive wrote:?beachbum wrote:+1. ED to UVA? You're above their GPA median, they might bite.

Actually, this is a great idea given that OP can get a fee waiver just by asking.JusticeHarlan wrote:ED to UVA? You're above their GPA median, they might bite.

what about Case? Also I'd throw Boalt an app, high gpa + compelling story is right up their alley.

Thanks for the input. I will definitely throw an app at Case and Davis. SLU worries me a lot with WUSTL being a good program and in the same city.

Re: Reverse Splitter thinking about applying to the following...
I'd say 160 still makes Boalt a no-go, though. It's a bit of an unrealistic reach - we can all have our hail marys, but I don't know if its worth the app fee in this case unless its OP's dream school that he would regretting not shooting for.JPU wrote:what about Case? I agree with Case though, great bio/medical facilities there.

I wouldn't worry about this as much because the majority of WUSTL kids desperately want to leave the city.wolfpack11 wrote:Thanks for the input. I will definitely throw an app at Case and Davis. SLU worries me a lot with WUSTL being a good program and in the same city.

Re: Reverse Splitter thinking about applying to the following...
I still think I'd throw an app to Boalt, all specialized-like. They're suckers for high GPAs and intriguing stories. Granted, according to LSN they took almost no non-URMs below 162 this past cycle, but, hey. Reach?czelede wrote:I'd say 160 still makes Boalt a no-go, though. Does anybody know how my numbers would stack up at Texas, Georgia, and Minnesota (I got mail from Minnesota)
