I just graduated from a top 25 school...
problem is that my gpa is excruciatingly low - 2.6
Decent lsats- 168

Given my situation and pending if I have a strong application (strong personal statement, strong recs) what are the chances I will get into a top 50 law school?
Also I'm doing pretty productive things on my time off (various internships and abroad experience)

retake the lsat. though you might get in the 50 somewhere towards the end.

thanks - i actually am studying for it again and planning on taking it soon. i'm scoring about 170s right now. i'm hoping that if i can break into that range my chances will even increase further. any suggestions of eding it. dream school would be georgetown but don't know about that with my low gpa.

I think you'll be okay for a handful of top 50's (like someone said, more on the lower end). Include a GPA addendum if you have a good one. Submit apps VERY early!
