Well I mean I would apply to columbia, nyu, chicago, and pennin addition to the others I predicted for you. It really depends on goals, money, location and other things though. So I don't know about for you

Yale is the biggest, blackest box of them all. I applied last year and was admitted with worse stats than you.

From what I have gathered on here, GPA and LSAT aren't good enough for Stanford. I was under the impression that you need some impressive softs. OP said that his softs were average. I had 171/4.0 with average softs and got the straight reject. Thus, my prediction.

And Yale? Really? If you feel like throwing $100 after a <1% chance of getting in is a good investment, then go ahead.

GULC is notoriously stingy with scholarship money. They typically offer 0k to 30k schollys to people that are getting 60k schollys to Duke, UVA, Penn, Mich, etc.

My greatest wish is to go to either Stanford or Berkeley. I'm a West Coast guy. Anyone have advice for how to appeal to those two specifically in the app?

Both schools like GPA and "softs." The problem is that everything that is not GPA/LSAT is by definition a soft. You need to write compelling essays (personal statement, diversity statement), acquire strong LORs, and present yourself in a good light. It's hard to say what will appeal to them without knowing your history.

I agree with Superman. You have a very decent shot at CCN P & they're much preferable as backups to Duke, Georgetown, WUSTL & UO. (preferable in terms of decent employment after graduation, not location.)
