3.1/170 - Vanderbilt, Northwestern, WashU
Chances of each? The calculator puts the estimates at 0.4433, 0.3315, and 0.9229 respectively. Those numbers seem way too high.

Sounds fairly realistic but that calculator isn't the greatest for splitters.
If you really want NU, ED there. You'd likely get UVA ED as well.

Any other responses or suggestions? I plan on visiting UVA, I just don't want to be that far away from my family in Missouri.

Well if you are considering WashU, consider Illinois too. A TLSer with your LSAt and a slightly lover, but still over 3.0 GPA got a 2/3 scholarship at Illinois.o2bnlv wrote:Any other responses or suggestions? I plan on visiting UVA, I just don't want to be that far away from my family in Missouri.
Also consider Minnesota. They should give you about 16K a year.
I'd strongly consider applying ED to Northwestern. Michigan ED woulnd't be out of the question, but your chances are a lot lower.

Gotcha. Look into UIUC, Minn, Iowa, and WUSTL. They'll all give you some money.o2bnlv wrote:No work experience here.Desert Fox wrote:Well if you are considering WashU, consider Illinois too. If I were you I'd ED to UVA and fly home if you wanna visit. It's not like you are going to be able to drive back to Missouri every weekend anyway.

The Vandy and Northwestern number are high, but you have a chance. WUSTL will be a lock; they take everybody over 167 (although it'll probably be 168 next year). You'll probably even get money at WUSTL.o2bnlv wrote:Chances of each? The calculator puts the estimates at 0.4433, 0.3315, and 0.9229 respectively. Those numbers seem way too high.

I'm with DF, depending on your career aspirations, either try to get a scholly at UIUC/WashU, or ED to UVA.

Cornell could be a good ED choice, probably have a better shot there than UVA, but the instate thing might help

LOL, Cornell won't take him, nor does it have ED, nor is it in Missouri.bofaem wrote:Cornell could be a good ED choice, probably have a better shot there than UVA, but the instate thing might help
