3.96-3.98/169
What top ten schools should I be looking at? Are there any that I could get decent scholarship money from? Also, if I were to go to University of Texas would I necessarily have to stay there to practice?

Texas can place outside of Texas if you do well enough.thedude221 wrote:What top ten schools should I be looking at? Are there any that I could get decent scholarship money from? Also, if I were to go to University of Texas would I necessarily have to stay there to practice?
Yale, Harvard, and Columbia, are big reaches with a 169, but other than that you have decent chance (though Stanford will still be pretty tough). You might get money from 7-10, but likely nothing huge.

Is there enough financial aid out there to pay for law school at a top 10 school if no scholarship is involved? Also, and I'm not sure if I asked this already but how big of a shot do I have at University of Chicago?

If you have a special tie to Chicago, ED to Chicago is probably the way to go. It'll give you a much better chance, and is one of the best schools your numbers might get you into.thedude221 wrote:Is there enough financial aid out there to pay for law school at a top 10 school if no scholarship is involved? Not sure what your aid question means. Do you mean via loans? Yes, they give enough for tuition + living expenses for most...

You'll get enough loans, get in most likely to PBVMD with a scholarship or two. Several high GPA 169 lsat people got good scholarships at michigan. And you have a chance at Chicago and NYU but will probably pay sticker and Columbia is LSAT heavy so a good chance you are out there.

Surprised no one's said "retake" yet.
So, uh...retake.
