The 3.0 isn't so great, but the 162 is good for your choices. It's the same as me. I think you'll be okay this cycle, no/little scholarship money though, if you're okay with that.
Also W&L won't have fee waivers next cycle, so why not right?

Where do you live?Fred_McGriff wrote:I did a bit of re-thinking my reaches, I've got a 3.0 LSDAS GPA, 162 LSAT, 2 years work experience, soon to be volunteering in Africa and I'm thinking the following schools might be worth an application...
University of Colorado
University of Florida
University of Georgia
University of Indiana (Bloomington)
University of North Carolina
Tulane
Wake Forest
William & Mary
Washington & Lee
University of Wisconsin
Thoughts?
Out at Colorado and UNC unless you're in-state.
Probably out at Bloomington, W&M, W&L as well, or at best a WL.
Maybe in at Georgia, but schools are going to be looking to bump medians this year and you're barely above 25th on LSAT, well below on GPA. Same with Wisconsin.
In at Tulane, Wake, Florida, but not much money.

Its going to hurt me for UNC and Colorado, but I've been told it may help because very few LS applicants come from the state of Vermont.kalvano wrote: Where do you live?

No. It will just hurt. They have heavy in-state quotas to meet, and after that a lot of applicants with better numbers than yours to choose from.
